Super fresh Toro sashimi and Urchin !! Food is regularly all good condition Servers are friendly and kind. *This place has the best flounder sashimi and combo !!*
TLDR: A really good find of a place because they have a vast menu of Korean foods, and Japanese ones as well. They also offer good drink deals, and fresh sashimi. -[SPIDER ROLL] 16.99 Deep fried softshell crab, avocado, fish egg, and topped with mayo This one honestly didn't have much of the softshell crab flavor to it if I'm being honest Makes it a good version for people to try if they've never had softshell crab before -[SPICY SALMON ROLL] 7.99 Their version actually does have a kick to it which is not the norm I actually couldn't quite put my finger on what was different about their spicy salmon vs other ones until I discussed it haha The roll is HUGE for a six piece maki so quite worth it if you ask me -[HAEMUL PAJEON] 23.99 This is a seafood pancake that is savory aka not the kind you put maple syrup on Had assorted seafood in it like squid, and imitation crab, but also had mushrooms, green onions, and onions as well This was well seasoned, and panfried well which made it crispy on the outside, but fluffy on the inside. I honestly thought it didn't need a dipping sauce because of that but it does come with one -[YUK HWE] 23.99 Raw beef sashimi topped with egg that is also served with Asian pear/cucumber matchsticks My goodness, the portion of this was HUGE in a good way I really liked their version of this, and will 100% be ordering it again because the flavor of it was 10/10, and I found myself topping my other foods with it to elevate the overall dining experience -[UNAGI DON] 18.99 This was barbecue eel served on a bed of assorted vegetables all on top of rice I did honestly think the sauteed vegetebles (beansprouts, carrots, onions) they chose were odd originally but I will admit they ended up working well with the flavors of the eel A sizable portion for sure They do have fresh fluke/flounder sashimi that I have a lot of interest in coming back to try I didn't have any drinks (this time) because I had work later that night but they definitely had some good deals to return for
I've eaten here a few times before over the years and I thought it's time to give a review. Most recent trip: Food came out quickly once order. Highly efficient. I was impressed by the portion sizes. They have a menu that appealed to a variety of tastes from Japanese/Korean cuisines and hunger levels. Everything was overall well prepared and delicious. Chicken katsu was on the slight dry side but still good otherwise with the sauce. Seafood is reasonably priced and well presented. Service was fairly attentive and friendly. Only a ring away, not. Lots of seating. Karaoke option downstairs if you want to stay a while.
What a great spot! Had no idea it was hidden here. Everyone was so warm and kind and service was great. They have a mix of Korean and japanese food so you get banchan with your sushi! I actually loved that The sushi was delicious, compliments to the sushi chef. Miso soup was great and so was the kani salad. I do wish the assorted tempura had more veggies and veggie types though. Overall I'll definitely go back soon
Been coming here for 8 years now. The late hours are so convenient and the quality of the food is so consistent no matter what time I go. The owners are so nice. I’ve tried so many things on the menu, but tonight I had salmon sushi pizza, volcano roll, Alaska rolls, torch sushi dinner, and seaweed salad. I’ve gotten the sushi boats and party platters in past and the presentation is amazing!!
This is where you can get Korean Style fresh Fluke/Flounder Sashimi in TorontoThey have a fish tank full of fresh Seafood, so we knew the quality and freshness is guaranteed! We tried their Small Fluke Combo- which came with 30 pieces of Fluke Sashimi, 6 pieces of Mixed Tempura, Spicy Salmon & Tuna Sashimi Salad, Fish Stew, and Rice! You can wrap the fresh Fluke Sashimi in Perilla Leaves or Lettuce dipped in Korean Hot Sauce, it’s so good! The Fish Stew had Fish Bones and Veggies in it, super hearty!
Love this place! The rolls are good, we are vegetarian so limited options but they are good. The age tofu is amazing! The people are so nice and friendly. Only thing I would like to see more of is a more veg choices. But overall great people and great food
Owner Chef Mr. and Mrs. Bae always warm welcome customers. Also their Seafood Special menu always beyond my expectations; fresh, delicious and huge amount!! Great place to get together with friends thank you!
